Welcome to the first, of many, blogs from the Timberwood Mission Poland 2012 Team!
God has certainly been working wonders in bringing together this year's team. We have a couple returning team members from last year*, but also many new faces who bring a variety of gifts to the mission. This year's team includes: Abby Ahlberg*, Ryan Bell, Claire Erholtz*, Jenny and Tim Holmes, Angela Kleinschmidt, Rick Krantz*, Amanda and David Quisberg, Sarah Robertson, and Joy Walter.
Our fundraising efforts have been greatly successful thanks to so many loving and faithful supporters, both financially and through prayer. Thank you to everyone who has pledged their support to this point.
Our team continues to meet regularly, preparing lesson plans and also getting to know one another better before we launch on this life-changing adventure together. We are excited to see what God has in store for each of us!
Our team will be officially "introduced" for the first time at all three worship services on Sunday, June 17th. We'd love to see you there if you can make it!
As our trip gets closer, we ask that you continue to keep the Timberwood team in your thoughts and prayers. Please pray for team unity, health, safety, and that our hearts be open to God's pleasing and perfect will.
