Hello from Poland. Today was
a day trip to the mountains and a time to get to know the campers/students and
our Polish teammates. There are not words to provide you with a picture of the
splendor that God had displayed for us today as we rode to the top of the
mountain and looked out across His creation. Through a light mist and broken
clouds we saw the lush Polish countryside spread out before us.
We had been blessed with a
day to show the love of God to each other and the campers. The opportunity was
not squandered and we did show them the love that God has for them through the
love God has poured out on us in such abundance. This would not have been
possible except by your generosity and fervent prayers.
Though we have had very
demanding days with many activities, which you will see from the many pictures
that have been taken, with some pictures that I personally hope get deleted.
The team is in good health and spirits.
It is humbling to me to be
in the presence of the Polish team, which has lavished a hospitality on us that
is constant and consistently looking after our needs. They have demonstrated
the love of a family on strangers because of our shared faith and Father. We
could not have asked better hosts that sincerely care for us so lovingly.
What God is doing through us
(Americans & Poles) to bring the gospel and show His love to others is
amazing. And I need to consider what if I did a better job showing His love to
others daily? What would happen to my priorities if God came first all the time?
God’s love for me knows no bounds no limits and yet I do put limits on how much
of His love I show the world.
We do not know what tomorrow
brings, but it is my hope and prayer that we can continue in the work that we
started and that God will be magnified. I know that we have prepared for what
we plan to do, but as many of you around Gull Lake are aware, plans sometimes
have to change and we will be ready for whatever the day brings.
Please, please keep praying
for us for I doubt we could have overcome all that has happened on this trip
without your prayers and constant support. I am truly humbled to be one of your
representatives here and I sincerely thank you for the opportunity to serve God
on this team.
God bless and keep you, may
His light shine upon you always.
Love Grandpa D.
From the grandpa on a previous trip, it is good to hear from you Dennis! Can't wait to see those pictures. How bad could they be?
