Training Day from Carl Mills

Today was our big training day with the other teams that are here.  Having been to Poland before and already being very well prepared thanks to Abby and Kris, I honestly wasn’t very excited for this day and was eager to just get to Skoczów to start our camp.  It turned out to be a very enjoyable day with our team and learning about Josiah Venture and Poland.  We also got to practice an English lesson and the camp dance.  Our church tore up the dance floor since we had already practiced it for a few hours and others were just learning it.  I am currently sitting at the table after supper after just eating pierogi; they have been feeding us very well.

We had a little free time where Noah and Kon proceeded to get smoked by “The Old Guys”, Carl and Toby Mac (Pete) in Spike Ball.  Others relaxed and/or slept, including yelling at the boys out the window to quiet down.  Everyone seems to be in good spirits and it sounded like everyone slept well also, so thanks for the prayers about jet lag!  Abby is feeling a little under the weather if you could lift her up in prayer as well.

The interns here at Josiah Venture put on a sample evening program for us tonight.  It was full of energy and we got to see Noah try to get a cookie from his forehead to his mouth and Kon get a Cheetos beard.  Thank you for you continued prayers as we are over here.
